Looks like MS has made Microsoft Parallel Extensions for .NET 3.5 SP1 June 2008 CTP no longer available.
I just had to get setup on a project that was already using it. I couldn’t find the download for the June 2008 CTP that works with .NET 3.5.
Find a server where the existing applications is already installed and with a command line go to
C:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Threading\18.104.22.168__31bf3856ad364e35> and copy the System.Threading dll to a local directory and make your project reference that assembly from that directory instead of the GAC.
Not so good solution 😦 but it works.
One good reason to always save installers and not rely on availability online.
